"Flux and Formation" presents an abstract landscape defined by dynamic tension. Abstract figures emerge amongst the flowing blues, entwined with intricate floral patterns. Xie’s process strikes a balance between chaos and control, capturing the unpredictability of nature while embracing the precise logic of computation. Using generative AI, she creates a repository of visuals, meticulously cutting and assembling fragments from each image into a single digital collage. This initial composition, though disjunctive, is then transformed through custom algorithms that apply unifying patterns and textures. Much like natural systems, this process brings order to chaos, resulting in a tapestry that underscores nature's powerful yet fragile balance.
